Why support KamerunGO! ?

At the beginning of 2018, we began writing to foundations to ask for financial support.
We hope that the donations from various institutions, foundations and lottery funds will enable us to achieve our goal for 2018.
But why should the KamerunGO! project in particular be supported?

A wealth of experience Although the KamerunGO! association is relatively young, the board already has a wealth of knowledge.
First and foremost is President Ursina Sprenger, who has strong ties to Cameroon and has gained invaluable experience in various non-profit organizations.
All other board members are also involved in tasks that they are already familiar with from the world of work. Voluntary work The entire board of KamerunGO! works on a voluntary basis.
This means that donations go directly to the project and therefore to the people of Bekoko.
In addition, family and friends also support us with voluntary work:

  • Plan and construction of the building by architect (Valentin Meier)
  • Logo design
  • Several volunteers from the construction and healthcare sectors for construction and commissioning

Great impact with low running costs We are convinced that the construction of a medical center will have a very positive impact on the health situation in Bekoko.
Discussions with the local population and various institutions have confirmed this view.
After all, early diagnosis and treatment is very important, especially for widespread diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis and HIV.
We want to make this possible with a local medical center.
At the same time, the hospital in Douala will be relieved if simple treatments can be carried out in Bekoko.
Once construction is complete, the project can be operated at relatively low cost.
The biggest cost factors will then be medical supplies, personnel costs and maintenance of the building.
If you are convinced by our project, we would be delighted to receive a donation.
