On January 17, we were able to officially open the health center in Bekoko, Cameroon.
In the first week alone, we were able to treat over 170 patients in the medical health center, even though it was only open half a day.
The patients treated included many cases of malaria, stomach complaints and severe back problems.
We are delighted that the work of the last two and a half years is now having an impact and that we can finally help the people of Cameroon.
We have already achieved a lot, but we are not quite there yet.
Over the next few months, there is still some work to be done in the medical health center in order to expand our range of treatments.
Among other things, we still need to expand the solar system a little so that we can connect all the laboratory equipment and thus carry out the necessary analyses even during the longer power outages.
We are also planning to expand the laboratory equipment so that we can carry out further analyses.
Accordingly, we are always on the lookout for donors who would like to donate to a sustainable project in Cameroon, Africa.
It has been just over two years since the founding of KamerunGO! and our local NGO Hope and Life Cameroon.
So it’s time for a little look back.
The following timeline shows our most important milestones of the last two and a half years.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our partners and donors who have supported us in recent years!
This would not have been possible without you.
Thank you very much!
