Our association aims to offer the people of Bekoko access to primary medical care and health information in the first and so far only local health center.
We aim to open the medical health center by the end of December. Right from the start, we offer the population access to medical care and the opportunity to receive advice or treatment from our professional team.
If necessary, contact is made with other medical facilities that can provide further treatment for those affected.
The health center offers the following services:
- Medical advice from the center’s team for non-acute symptoms.
- Preventive measures in the form of vaccinations and the delivery of preventive preparations, especially for children and the elderly.
- Laboratory tests for the diagnosis of diseases such as malaria, TB, HIV, etc.
- Treatment of minor injuries.
- Establishing contact and referring patients to a doctor or suitable institution, especially if further treatment or surgery by a doctor is necessary.
- Free advice for young people on topics such as sexuality, disease prevention and contraception, subject to confidentiality.
Treatments at the health center are offered to beneficiaries at fair prices.
If a person cannot afford the amount, a solution should be found so that they can still be treated.
