In recent weeks and months we have been able to make good progress with the construction of the health center.
The foundation walls are in place, the septic tank has been built and the area around the building has been leveled (it took over 25 trucks of earth… 🙂 ).
Thanks to your generous support and with a little negotiating skill, we have found a good partner for our roof.
When constructing the roof, we made sure that the heat could not build up in the roof so that our future patients and staff can relax and work in pleasant temperatures.
We also hope to be able to save electricity for the air conditioning systems.
In the meantime, the basic scaffolding is already in place and we expect to be able to finish the 30-meter-long roof in the next few weeks.
