It also fills the <strong>wells<\/strong> for the local population. <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Multiple harvests<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In the southeastern, central and eastern regions of the country, the two distinct rainy seasons allow farmers <strong>to plant and harvest grain at least twice a year<\/strong> .<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Economic livelihood<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The <strong>agricultural sector accounts for approximately 45% of Cameroon&#8217;s GDP<\/strong> and employs over 80% of the working population.
