KamerunGO! - A humanitarian non-profit organization

With our association KamerunGO! we operate the first medical health centre in Bekoko and run this with local staff. In this way, we create a point of contact for consultations, treatments and prevention work. Our goal is to improve the health situation in Cameroon in a sustainable way.

Why Cameroon?
Die Gesundheitsversorgung in Kamerun ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand!
The medical care of the 24 million people of Cameroon is in a desolate state:
- Hospitals are crumbling, are under-furnished and do not even meet minimal hygiene regulations.
- Many medical devices are old, broken and cannot be serviced on site.
- Often there are few or no doctors employed in clinics. For this reason, the treatments are often carried out by nurses – including operations that should be carried out urgently by expert surgeons.
Due to a largely missing health system, the majority of the population has no or only very limited access to medical care and that is exactly where we want to start with our project first.

Our partners
We rely on strong partners to improve the health situation in Cameroon in the long term.
Together with our partner organisation KamerunGO! in Switzerland, we want to create a medical centre in Bekoko in a sustainable way. Other partners in Switzerland and Cameroon help us with financial, material or organisational tasks.
Together with our local partner association, we want to improve health care in Cameroon in a sustainable way. The association was initiated by the same founders as KamerunGO! and shares the same values. We work very closely together.
WmF Mercy e.V. has believed us and our project from the very beginning. We are very grateful for their financial and mental support!
With Bon Secours, we recently extended our partnership and are now the local coordinator with most projects in Cameroon.
The Medical Center Hope and Life and the association Hope and Life Cameroon are both partners of the Medical Network Cameron, which was initiated in 2016 by Bon Secours e.V.!
We take sustainability very seriously. In a country like Cameroon, however, this is a greater challenge. Together with Solafrica and Jeunesse Verte, we have found partners who have helped us ensure a sustainable energy supply.
